¡ATTENTION!

The Training and Visitors Center (TVC) is a building situated next to the Madrid Deep Space Communications Complex (MDSCC), south of the municipality of Robledo de Chavela (Madrid), in a privileged natural environment.
The main objective of the TVC is scientific outreach, to provide motivation and interest in space exploration. This is done through programmed activities adapted to the different characteristics of the visitors; these activities provide an overview of what NASA does, all the Deep Space Network centers, some space missions and general astronomy.
The TVC is a small space distributed among three exhibition rooms, a workshop area and an auditorium room. The orientation of the building allows the observation of the giant DSS-63 antenna, 70 meters in diameter, from practically all the rooms, so the fundamental value of the building resides in the observational strategy of the Deep Space Communications Complex.
Through models, murals and original objects, the visitor can enjoy a space experience in a privileged environment.
The main theme of the exhibitions is focused on NASA space missions, distinguishing between the permanent exhibition and temporary ones. In the case of temporary exhibitions, they focus on the milestones of the missions, updating successes and discoveries.
It is worth highlighting the “star” piece of the permanent exhibition: a real Moon rock from the Apollo XV mission.
