El espectro, es decir, la cantidad de energ\u00eda en funci\u00f3n de la longitud de onda, de H1821+643, indica que el agujero negro est\u00e1 girando a un ritmo modesto en comparaci\u00f3n con otros menos masivos que giran cerca de la velocidad de la luz. Esta es la medida de giro m\u00e1s precisa de un agujero negro tan masivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 el agujero negro de H1821+432 gira solo la mitad de r\u00e1pido que los de menor masa? La respuesta puede estar en c\u00f3mo crecen y evolucionan estos agujeros negros supermasivos. Este giro relativamente lento respalda la idea de que los agujeros negros m\u00e1s masivos, como H1821+643, experimentan la mayor parte de su crecimiento fusion\u00e1ndose con otros agujeros negros, o porque el gas es atra\u00eddo hacia adentro en direcciones aleatorias cuando sus grandes discos se rompen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es probable que los agujeros negros supermasivos que crecen de esta manera, a menudo experimenten grandes cambios de giro, incluida la desaceleraci\u00f3n o la torsi\u00f3n en la direcci\u00f3n opuesta. Por lo tanto, la predicci\u00f3n es que los agujeros negros m\u00e1s masivos tienen un rango m\u00e1s amplio de velocidades de giro que sus parientes menos masivos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por otro lado, los cient\u00edficos esperan que los agujeros negros menos masivos acumulen la mayor parte de su masa a partir de un disco de gas que gira a su alrededor.
