La NASA cuenta con colaboradores comerciales e internacionales para establecer misiones tripuladas en la luna partir de 2028. Uno de los objetivos es utilizar lo aprendido en la Luna y sus alrededores para dar el siguiente salto gigante: enviar astronautas a Marte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El nuevo y poderoso cohete de la NASA, el Space Launch System (SLS), enviar\u00e1 astronautas a bordo de la nave espacial Ori\u00f3n a 380.000 kil\u00f3metros de la Tierra, hasta a la \u00f3rbita lunar. Los astronautas atracar\u00e1n la nave Ori\u00f3n en el Gateway (una estaci\u00f3n orbital en la Luna) y se transferir\u00e1n a un sistema de aterrizaje humano para realizar expediciones en la superficie de nuestro sat\u00e9lite. Despu\u00e9s, regresar\u00e1n al Gateway para volver a bordo de Ori\u00f3n de nuevo y regresar a salvo a la Tierra. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previo a las misiones tripuladas, se han enviado un conjunto de instrumentos cient\u00edficos y demostraciones tecnol\u00f3gicas a la superficie lunar, a trav\u00e9s de entregas comerciales desde 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La NASA enviar\u00e1 dos misiones alrededor de la Luna para probar sus sistemas de exploraci\u00f3n del espacio profundo. La agencia espacial estadounidense ha lanzado y desarrollado con \u00e9xito Artemis I, un vuelo sin tripulaci\u00f3n, para probar tanto el cohete SLS como a  Ori\u00f3n. El siguiente paso ser\u00e1 la misi\u00f3n Artemis II, que supondr\u00e1 el primer vuelo del SLS y Ori\u00f3n con tripulaci\u00f3n.
