Hydrogen masers and generators based on cesium-133, stand out among other. This last one has a new pattern incorporated, composed by a linear ion trap of mercury (LITS, or \u00abLinear ion trap Standard\u00bb).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:22px\">In the case of the hydrogen maser, stability is of the order of 10 to the power minus 14; for the cesium pattern the stability is lower, and the LITS is hoped to overcome a hydrogen maser in one or two orders of magnitude.
